South Side

The Destiny Centre is located just south of the River Clyde. The area is characterised by attractive residential streets and lush parkland such as Bellahouston Park and Pollok Country Park. Bellahouston features Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s House for an Art Lover, while Pollok Country Park is home to the world famous Burrell Collection, the grandeur of Pollok House, and even some highland cattle.

City Centre

In addition Glasgow’s City Centre has many art galleries and museums - St Mungo’s Museum of Religious Life and Art is located next to St Mungo’s Cathedral. This is the UK’s only museum which celebrates the many religions of the world. And once you’re finished with culture why not pop down to Princess Square for a spot of lunch and some retail therapy!

West End

The Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum is one of the world’s most renowed public galleries and is situated in the heart of the fashionable West End. It houses the city’s principal collection of paintings and is Scotland’s most frequently visited free attraction. The collection includes Salvador Dali’s painting Christ of St. John of the Cross. In addition the quirky boutiques and gift shops along Byres Road and Ashton Lane are not to be missed!
