Destiny Centre Community Projects

The Destiny Centre is a social enterprise , which exists to raise funds to support the community initiatives of the Destiny Centre and the Destiny Foundation. This means that the profits from servicing the needs of our clients go back into local people.

During the week we have various community projects such as our subsidised Tots & Toddlers Groups – Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays from 10.30 – 12noon.

A great opportunity to relax and meet other parents and carers while you know that your child is playing safely. Healthy snacks and drinks are provided for the kids while you can enjoy real coffee and chocolate! Meet a whole new network of friends and you will leave feeling connected and content.

Glasgow is a very needy with a large number of people who are homeless and involved with drugs and/or prostitution. On Tuesday evenings our Streetworx team head out into the City Centre to povide food and friendship. Our committed team are there come rain or shine, but are grateful for the support of local bakeries and other organisations that assist in the provision of food and clothes to help those in need.

Destiny Angels is a project that empowers people who are experiencing isolation or have difficulties or challenges meeting the demands of every day life. The service is for any and all who are in need, from the local businessman to the single parent. This is a 'no strings attached' initiative. We offer spiritual, emotional and practical support as well a signposting service to specialist agencies in the clients local area.
